Have you already migrated from SQL 2000 to SQL 2005 ?
If not, hurry up because New SQL Server 2008 (Code Name Katmai) is now in CTP version !
Documentation is still poor, but it seems most of the new features will be related to BI, Analysis Services and critical-mission applications data-driven. So don’t expect so many changes for the current Management Studio version we are all used to be working with.
Some of the highlited features for BI are Change Data Capture and MERGE features, that will allow customers to have up-to-date information everytime. Also Analysis Services Cubes will be easier to develop, using SQL Server 2008 new Development Environment.

If you want to learn more about these features, you can view the Microsoft Free On Demand Webcasts using the following links

Change Data Capture
Star Join Query Optimizations
Table Valued Parameters
Declarative Management Framework
MERGE SQL Statement
