I was born in Carmelo, a small city in the south west coast of Uruguay, South America.
I moved to Montevideo to start my Software Engineer Career. I graduated from ORT University in 2003.
Right now I have more than 6 years of working experience in IT, always with Microsoft technologies.
I’ve worked for some of the major IT companies from Uruguay, including CMMI Level 5 and Six Sigma ones.
My job profile includes several .NET projects for international customers such as TCS (Montevideo), Motorola (USA), American Express (USA), Comicrom Bank (Chile) and Intheco (Puerto Rico), among others.
During the last couple of years I’ve been involved in Project Management area, I’ve got a PMP certification from PMI as a plus to my technical skills.
Right now I lead a team of talented Microsoft developers providing consulting, outsourcing and application development services to several customers around the globe, in a company named UruIT Global IT Services. In this Microsoft Certified company we are committed to deliver high quality software products and qualified professionals with tons of experience in latest Microsoft technologies.
I am know applying my experience in leadership and entrepeneur to lead this organization to its global vision, participating in all areas including Sales and Management.
Visit my Linkedin online resume to know more about my technical skills and working experience.
When I am not working I like to read blogs (+ technologies, SEO, investment and financial ones), spending time with my family and girlfriend or traveling.
I started this blog some time ago because I found some common necessities when talking to co-workers and fresh developers: lack of a unified source of news and updates, lack of time to go through every single post and news every day, and lack of simple explanations for those who are just starting in the .NET development world.
However, due to a change in my career this blog turned to a more personal one, but I will be posting technical stuff as well, mostly related to our projects at UruIT.
Even my first language is Spanish I decided to write it in English, to improve my writing skills and to have a wider public. So, my apologizes if the writings are not clear enough :).
